Can she afford a couch after paying her rent? I’m in the same situation right now, in a new apartment. My last paycheck of the year is sitting in my bank account, ready to be swallowed up entirely by my rent payment on January 1st.
I hope to get a couch some time, but right now my TV (which I already had before the move) is facing both my bed (donated by my parents, who also moved) and my kitchen table (which came with the apartment)… because yay studio apartments.
