Didn’t we originally get rid of imbicile as it was felt to be derogatory so we replaced it with mental retardation? Which then went from a medical term to a derogatory term so now we have to find a new term that will eventually become offensive. Euphemism treadmill forever
You could replace it with something much more innocuous, like “imbiciles”, that gets the same message across
