Poland’s most senior officials on Friday dismissed Trump’s suggestion that a major Russian drone incursion into Polish airspace could have been a mistake by Vladimir Putin’s military.

“We would also wish that the drone attack on Poland was a mistake. But it wasn’t. And we know it,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in a message posted on social media.

Polish authorities said they had recovered parts of 17 Russian-made drones, which fell without causing any injuries or major damage in the east of the country on Wednesday.

not that deep of an incursion. and if it was a mistake, you still have to fucking do something about it

e: this has apparently conveyed the opposite of what i meant. what i’m saying is you can’t claim this was a mistake when the drones were so fucking deep into sovereign polish territory. i personally think any incursion at all warrants a response given who the russian horde has shown themselves to be time after time

This is either ignorance or downplaying the seriousness of the situation. Or an even stupider third thing.

It could also have been a surveillance mission or a testing the response type thing. It could be a lot of things, I’m glad Putin’s puppy dog immediately jumped to defend his big daddy though. What a simp.
