    In a just world he would have been shut down the moment he started to promote his hateful ideology.

    Short of that I will celebrate horrible people no longer existing however it happens because their absence is a net benefit. Especially if they die to the thing they were promoting.

      Fair, I just straight up believe this death doesn’t really matter, like what are they gonna do that they didn’t already try. And on the opposite side, Kirk was not special - all he had was connenctions, loyalty to the grift and media training - that sounds easy to replace, and maybe his successor won’t be as mediocre of a speaker. It’s just a clear visual point for the historians to mark when tension popped

        If celebrating keeps morale high I don’t see much harm in it. Sure, in a just world he would have gotten a trial, and sure, it won’t change anything, but you gotta take what you can get.

        Exactly. The administration already declared war on Chicago and are calling it something something Midway after a WWII battle.

        There are other comparable conservative shills already, and they are all as mediocre or worse speakers.
