    Ofcom tries to enforce EU law on American companies where they have no jurisdiction.

    American companies try to sue EU in an area where they don’t have jurisdiction.

    Why not just ignore them?

      Country laws can apply to services operating in the country, doesn’t matter where the company is based. Webs can deny to serve users in that country as many do.

          They can the same way way the EU has fined Facebook and Google multiple times. The question is what can happen in this case if the fine is not played as the EU can not seize assets outside its territory.
