So this is a proposal for a mesh networking, decentalized, sharded compute infstructure.

The basic set up would be the node. Each node would contain part of a global supercomputing infastructure. How much you controbute in power to the shared infastructure returns a cryptocurrency called ComputeCoin (CC). The rate at which each resource is valued is set dynamicly by the network by an automated real time marketplace, also you can buy CC from any user or company or datacenter, if you prefer to avoid running a server. These coins can be used for anything from disabling ads, internet wide, to purchusing stuff online. You also do not have to buy any of these if you set your machine to automine a certian amount based on your usage. You can set your machine to mine only at certian hours, or when your phone is on charge. You can set minimum prices or have the network autodetermine when electricity prices are low enough, per your hardware configuration. You can also use the coins to stream any ip content so long as the owner allows it. Its a deventralized currency and kife lood of the collective compute system.

Each instruction set would be valued at a certian amount, perhaps AVX 512 at so many op/s would be worth this much, while general CPU ops would be worth less. NPU time might be worth the same or more then GPU time. Storage would be leased per MB for a 1 day lease.

DNS, authetication, and servers are handled virtually across the distributed node network. Governments who wish to take down content can enforce the use of a certifcate in their region and it only affects people in that region. It doesnt deanonymize users but allows focernments to intervene without ruining the entire system with dumb laws.

Content is cached among several regions, and servers which have a 99.9% uptime get a premium on the network. All of this would be handled automaticly with a number of algoithms. Content would try to be cached on 99.9% uptime sources atleast twice on opposing sides of the planet. Frequently accessed content would automaticly be copied to many machines, and machines wouldnuse a P2P system to serve content.

Also a few technologies would be integrated into the global super compute structure.

One is decentralized AI and supercomputing resources for networks. People may access these by paying some of their CC, and scientific research organizations can leverage as much compute power as they need for non letency sensitive tasks by purchasing time on the network or schedualing it for times when compute is cheap, like when lots of renewable energy is availible, or its early morning in most of the populated world. A very small tiny fraction of the CC transactions would go to the maintainers of the network, perhaps a few dozen opensource engineers who implement ane bug fix the network, each getting a nice salary working for this nonprofit.

A search engine should be created that implements the ideas of a federated network. All machines in the network crawl and share results with nearby nodes. This search engine has many cool features. One upvoting and downvoting content and flagging content as malware or misleading, and users subscribe to lists of curators they respect. Some list are privatly currated, some created by online communities, the end user can rank these lists by priority so that each user has a search engine that is both complete and ranked and ordered the way they would like it to be, depending on their own tastes and stuff.

A secure mode is built in that works much like tor, authentication uses a global not regional leadger and utilizes hundreds of machines to store and retreive secrets and ledgers, making it much harder to hack. Encryption is built in by default on everything. The tor mod instead uses local only keys and route hoping and obfuscation of the entry point.

Users can also opt in for full encryption or use their machine as a decryption agent, so keys are only stored on one or a few servers. This can exist alongside the network wide credidential system. This can be useful for sensitive content or banks, which may wosh to store alot of emcrypted data on the network, but keep decryption keys stored locally on a known secure machine, and use this node as a central tensor for all these requests without ever putting sensitive data on the network.

Users can also configure their routes by balancing several axis, speed, latency, cost, green energy preference, etc. So users may choose to use a lower cost route if they dont have many resources to contribute, or may opt for high speed routes when gaming or doing real time networking. Each machine sets their own prices, and the network balances itself automaticly.

Last but not finally, this network should be hardware agnostic. Using only a transmit and receive channel for it’s basic standard. So it does not rely on any technology or medium to work. It can work with any serial connection that can access other nodes, and if the nodes dont detect an established link rate, they can test each others connections to determine speeds. The network can fall back to pure mesh mode if it cannot access a global access point directly. It also has an emergency mode to emhance this feature, where their device allows full or partial use of itself to the mesh network without tracking cost and CC use. This could allow computers and cell phones to establish a mesh network in the event of a catastrophe, or blackout, and allow users to get low speed access to however much of the network they can see. Lerhaps sending texts or making calls between people in an emergency. Someone could set up a satalite relay and connect it to the mesh network to get people WAN access.

Also built in would be communications services. Messaging, phone, video calls. Tied only to users. A ooen stamdard which any device can use.

This is the beginning of an idea i have for a new free in all ways, and secure and private global and decentralized internet 2.0, with many features. Eventually this can evolve into something much more. Decentralized and democratized voting systems, a global exchange currency, it can be integrated with publicly owned free low bandwidth digital radio networks with rtk, and also can tie into access points to higher speed private infastructure. This can allow companies to get rid of streaming platforms and take away control from big tech to algoritmicly brainwash us, and take away control from telecoms to gatekeep and track our communications behind fees and cartels. It allows users to host content and get paid for it. Websites to monitize without ads, although people can sell ads to users who dont want to pay or contribute. It allows all users to pay or access the network for free by contributing to it somehow. It puts the CC (ComputeCoin) in the hands of the users so they can do with it what they like.

I hope you guys find this interesting, and I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on what this could turn into. A decentralized mesh network, the worlds most powerful supercomputer, a giant distributed data center, a lifeline for emergencies and the poor. A global currency. A decentralized transparent backbone of democracy. Transparent opensource AI that can do many things for us as we learn to make more intelligent AIs. Perhaps one day we will all vote and have the AI cardy out the role of executor and judge for disputes and accessing resources. Idk. The possibilities seem nearly endless.

Thanks for taking the time for reading one of my ideas for the future. I have many. Love from your friendly neighborhood utopian and futuist, DarkAri…
