I told my father multiple times and in no uncertain terms that I would not tolerate any kind of favoritism because as far as I was concerned that was my son. This motherfucker had the absolute audacity when my twins were born to call my Mom and ask her essentially how it felt to finally be a “real” grandma. Cuz like how else are you supposed to take it when he asks how it feels to be a grandma when my wife and I had been together for like 4 years and married for almost 2? She’d had a grandson for years already. Then he doubled down on saying that it was different because these were biologically mine.
