This reminds me that Felix Baumgartner, the guy who jumped out of a crazy high Red Bull weather balloon and exceeded the sound barrier on the way down, just died on Thursday in a paragliding accident.

He can’t keep getting away with it!

I can’t find it now, but I’ve seen a great video of a fella with maybe a quarter acre with a smallish house but it’s entirely devoted to food. There are fruit trees and berry bushes around the outside, accessible to all from the sidewalk. Small corn and potato patches, plenty of of other fruits and veggies. I remember him grabbing some artichoke and a basket of random veg for the day’s meal.

Just a very dense garden. It was a great video tour, I wish I could find it.

I heard someone call my name when I was alone in the house falling asleep while listening to a podcast. Freaked me right the heck out!

Maybe you could run a science program at your local library? They tend to be more welcoming.

As an aside, you implied in the OP that you were(are?) a drag queen on the weekends. Do you mind if I ask - I’ve never been quite sure about the self identity of drag queens.

Is a person a drag queen only when they perform in drag? That is, are you still a queen when you are in regular clothes at the grocery store? Also, is the drag queen the personality of the character you play, or the person doing the performing?
