At least the meme makes sense now! Thank you
What is the “(character) is homophobic?” trend?
How do you know things you don’t clock as AI aren’t AI?
I found out from John Oliver last night that last week there was a controversy surrounding some celebrity (whose name I already forgot), who wasn’t able to buy some kind of toy or something and that nobody could stop talking about it. But that was the first time I’d heard about it. So I guess I’d say that

It sounds like you’re comparing the most reasonable views of the pro-AI crowd to the most reactionary views of the anti-AI crowd
I just read Dracula for the first time, and was surprised by how relatively little interaction Renfield and Dracula had with each other. Pop culture led me to believe he was like a long time servant of Dracula.

That’s part of the joke
Why would she not say Hot Wheels?
Hey, why do the objects on the side of the car look like a racist minstrel character?
Stop normalizing Bush. Remember when they gave Obama a Nobel Peace Prize just for not being him?
I know it’s just a joke and I know I’m taking this way too seriously but the “<adj> thing implies the existence of <opposite adj> thing” meme really annoys me, because no it doesn’t imply that at all.
Tipping culture is bullshit. But if somebody doesn’t want to participate in tipping culture, they should refuse to patronize businesses that do participate in it. Somebody who stiffs people that depend on tips to make a living isn’t doing anything except being an asshole

How long has AI been “teetering on the brink“?

The most infuriating part is that people are going to start doing it
Everybody’s constantly cheating on their partner…

I guess I can continue not ever listening to the Fray or knowing what any of their songs are
The metaphor doesn’t really work for this one. “Pay to win“ implies using real-world money to progress instead of in-game currency. If Earth is a game, then all our money is “in-game” and “pay to win“ would mean you could progress further by using money from beyond Earth
