I use a self hosted Wazuh server. There is a lot to it but its very comprehensive.

Some would say that a generated random series of sounds is a form of avant-garde music. So it could be immediate.

In the context of No Stupid Questions, I understand a genuine question to be one where the asker seeks knowledge and/or understanding, for example: Is it safe to eat cheese that’s been in my freezer for 3 years?
Maybe I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure its not for people looking for debates or arguments.

Great article but this shouldn’t be called “Tricks” it should be called Shell Basics. I’m old enough to remember taking an Intro To Unix course and there was an entire day on the shell where these types of commands were presented as essential learning.

If you have skills that are in demand in a particular country then there will be a path to residency and possibly citizenship. Many trades are in demand in many places. In some places the demand is so high you can get by speaking English. There may even be incentives offered to people with qualifying skills to move there, like low or no income tax.

In 2002 I was lost. I went to Las Vegas ready to gamble it all away. I got in late. There I sat on the bed. Unable to move on. I don’t know why but on a whim I opened the drawer of the night stand. There I saw it. I don’t know who put it there or why. The Linux Bible. All I know is from that very day my life was changed.

In 1998, the Open Source Definition was created for clarity. A lot of people were confused between Free Software/GPL, and other types of open source software. People would make a lot of assumptions that it meant many things it didn’t so a formal definition was written down.
It doesn’t seem like it worked to clarify much as people still have wildly differing views on what Open Source means or what they think it should mean.

The wikipedia page that features the image you posted has explanations of how the boader got that way.

My dog is way too big to share the bed with. He has his own bed at the foot of mine. He’s very well trained and knows to not even put a paw on the bed. However, being so big, he can easily lean in and give my ear a long loud wet sniffing when I try to sleep in.

Hard to disagree based on what I just experienced.
This morning I got some new earbuds. The booklet that came with the earbuds includes no written instructions. Only a short series of pictures to show you how to pair and use them. There is also a QR code to a video.
The pictures were clear and simple to follow. I must admit it was nice not to need to use my reading glasses. I’m not sure how cooked we are though. Mass literacy is a pretty recent development for human society after all.

post literate society gets closer everyday

Its a benefit to use something external when a new browser comes out that you want to use instead of FF or if you need some passwords on a device that has no FF. Loosely coupled solutions generally have more flexibility.

No, absolutely not

I do have an agenda, which is to try to understand…
If your goal is to understand why people feel the way they do then why are you arguing with people and attempting to refute their responses instead of thoughtfully reflecting their concerns back to them to confirm if you have understood?
You seem like the type that really likes stereotypes instead of depth of understanding and nuance.
