5 years ago I went to California for the first time and tried a lime out there. It was the best lime Ive ever had. Still havent recovered from that blow. I’ll cut limes in half and chomp down on one half, love em that much.

That’s a gewd kedi right there. Had to give up my cat 4 months ago, though fortunately one of my sisters was able to take her in so I still get to see her sometimes. Going to go upstairs and pet the cat of the sister I’m staying with seeing this.

Mfw I browse the fediverse daily and am aware of some of the conflict that has gone down between y’all. I am on Lemmy too much lmao

Is it… Is it Doom?

That’s blatantly not true. One of the journalists involved with the Panama Papers died in a car bombing shortly after the Panama Papers were released. That happened.

Yaa I dunno if pathetic is the right word. More… Terrifying? All these years of spouting off about election shenanigans, and here we are. I’m trying to get on disability currently, & I’m questioning how long social security will even remain solvent. Also questioning if that’ll even matter, or if I’ll eventually just get picked up and sent to a prison/camp because of my attendance history related to protests and related activities here in Hamburgerland.

This take was more in depth by far than any of the comments I saw relating to this news on That Other Website
