Unless you think about it of course, then you realize in reality actually only one country and its client-state currently goes around bombing other countries it doesn’t even border and slaughtering civilians while celebrating it as “national security”, and that’s the US (and Israel, literal Jewish ISIS).

You disagree with the current war, the entire world is on fire because of US imperialism and colonization, and you can’t distance yourself from all the benefits and pride you get from the “good side” of America.

Just like you can’t separate America from it’s history of being built on the backs of slaves and the institutional oppression that still comes from that, you can’t separate your current comforts as an American from their direct causes: oppression and stealing the resources of other nations and using all your “most deadly military’s” best stealth bombers and biggest bombs to bully the world through threats of regime change and economic sanctions. Trump isn’t what’s bad about America, he’s just an accelerated conclusion to neo-liberal politics, this is Bill Clinton’s America!

  • Wow, you really should be disgusted with yourself right now. Go take a shower, Jesus Christ.

You were satisfied seeing someone “flee for her life” because you interpreted her foreign language and hand gestures as “she was self-righteously wagging the finger”, and that was enough to make a journalist fleeing for her life because a fascist genocidal state bombed her TV station “felt good”.

    🤮🤮🤮

  • As the victim. Iran is the topic as the victim of an unprovoked attack by a Jewish supremacist rogue state actively committing genocide.

And your contribution was to highlight “the victim does this other unrelated thing”.

I’ve spelled it out to you, and I didn’t need to insult your mental capacity to do it.

You’re engaging in manufacturing consent for the unprovoked attack by bringing up an unrelated grievance with the victim, as if it justified or makes it more acceptable.

  • what about x?

You’re right, Iran is a religious ethno state and you’re smart enough to recognize that as a bad thing, but when it comes to literal Jewish ISIS (Israel), you have to make an exception.

Don’t bring up other countries I didn’t defend, I’m simply asking you to make a case for Israel to be built as a Jewish supremacist state on land already lived on by a majority non Jewish native population, forcing the ethnostate to genocide them just to exist.

Make a case for Israel that isn’t “Europeans felt guilty for the Holocaust so they declared Jews are allowed to Holocaust anyone and gave them Palestine”

  • Different types of AI, different training data, different expectations and outcomes. Generative AI is but one use case.

It’s already been proven a useful tool in research, when directed and used correctly by an expert. It’s a tool, to give to scientists to assist them, not replace them.

If you’re goal to use AI to replace people, you’ve got a bad surprise coming.

If you’re not equipping your people with the skills and tools of AI, your people will become obsolete in short time.

Learn AI and how to utilize it as a tool, you can train your own model on your own private data and locally interrogate the model to do unique analysis typically not possible in realtime. Learn the goods and bads of technology and let your ethics guide how you use it, but stop dismissing revolutionary technology because the earlier generative models weren’t reinforced enough get fingers right.

but it’s also not right to expect scholars to lower their standards, simplify their analytic framework.

A livestreamed genocide where the perpetrators were unapologetically genocidal since day 0 and with the 100 year history of colonizing Palestine, any “genocide scholar” who was held back by their standards was a glorified record keeper, waiting until it’s widely recognized as a genocide before labeling it as such themselves.

And you’re white-washing their cowardice as scholarly integrity and standards. Bullshit.

  • Civilians that happen to be occupation military and their families living on illegally occupied land around the concentration camp in what they themselves describe as a buffer zone and a first line of defense when the colonized inevitably break out of the concentration camp?

Those civilians? The literal human shields put there by the state?

You can condemn individual attacks and label them “terrorist” even, but you when you insist history begins on that day and give Israel the “right to defend itself”, you’re whitewashing genocide.

Nat Turner’s rebellion was described the way you describe October 7 today, and people will describe you as the tone deaf Nazi sympathizers tomorrow, as we describe your like back in Turner’s day.

The right of self defense belongs to the Palestinians, the occupied, the people without an army fighting a fascist ethno-supremacist nuclear super power, not the other way around.
