We all probably would’ve been better off for it.
Learning Dutch can actually be really useful! For example I, as a Dutchman, like to use my own tongue whenever my Warlock communicates with their devil patron in our D&D games.

constructed languages are still languages. They may not be as well fleshed out as languages that developed naturally over time, but you can still learn and speak/write them. Some constructed languages are more complete than others.

Dutch sounds cool to me, though. I can see why people want to learn it even if it’s not real language.
